  • Health Insurance – It seems each year most people are paying more but getting less when it comes to health insurance. We chose to create our own solution as we watched this trend progress. True to our innovative nature, we built an affordable and effective self-insured health insurance program that has become an international model for like-minded businesses. This includes employer contributions to a health savings account (HSA) as well as access to a Healthcare Consultant to assist with health insurance related decisions.
  • Dental – Preventative services are covered at 100%.
  • Vision – Vision is included in our health benefit package with free eye exams and a $0 copay on certain frames.
  • Life insurance – Metis pays 100% of this benefit which includes accidental death and dismemberment insurance at 3x the employee’s salary up to $300,000.
  • Disability insurance – Metis pays 100% of this benefit which has both long and short-term offerings.
  • Vacation/PTO – We provide generous PTO for our staff with rollover options, in addition to recognizing 11 paid holidays. We offer up to 40 days of paid parental leave with an additional 20 flexible days that can be taken throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Employees have access to EAP professionals and relevant resources 24/7 for themselves and their dependents. This includes up to 5 free face-to-face sessions with a counselor and 1 legal consultation per issue. If an employee needs to speak with a counselor about a separate issue (divorce, depression, anxiety, etc.), the counts reset!
  • SmartScripts – Employees can save significantly on prescription medication through SmartScripts and GoodRx and also receive free delivery.
  • Wellness program – Our wellness program is designed to help employees and their spouses meet their health goals. It provides additional contributions towards medical benefits for employees who actively participate in the program.
  • Gym membership – Our main office building contains a state-of-the-art workout facility that is available to our employees. The gym is fully staffed with professional trainers who lead various exercise classes or provide individualized coaching. Gym access as well as the classes are provided to employees at no charge.

Our recently renovated building features both individual workstations as well as open, collaborative spaces designed to accommodate various work styles. It boasts a large, fully-staffed gym that is accessible to all employees. Our beautiful café and lounge are not open to the public but are reserved exclusively for our staff and tenants. Not only is the food delicious, but it is also subsidized to offer fresh, healthy food to our employees at an affordable price.
